Kelsey Baldwin is the graphic designer, Etsy seller, and infopreneur behind Paper & Oats.
She is a student in my Your First 1K course (which you can find here).
A few months ago, Kelsey sent me this email:
"Your First 1K was a huge game changer for me, it helped me to actually be strategic about my email list which resulted in it growing from around 400 when I started the course to nearly 2,000 six months later.
Your First 1K also kick started the creation of my first online course, The InDesign Field Guide, which earned $20,000 in it's first launch (just 6 months after starting Your First 1K.
In Your First 1K, I also got to know 2 other designers who had been acquaintances before, and we've now formed a mastermind group where we chat daily about our current projects, get feedback + advice about our businesses, and we even met up for a retreat this year and had a blast planning + scheming for the new year. Our mastermind has been an incredible benefit to all of us, and it all started in Your First 1K.Your course was a great foundation for me to learn about strategic list building and product creation in an easy-to-follow format that I could apply to my business right away. The Slack group is so great. Thanks for all the work you put into it, it's been a fabulous resource for me, and many others."
I was like, girl we need to tell your story!
Kelsey has generously allowed us to ask her all about her business, her launch, and what she's going to do next with what she's learned in Your First 1K (her second course, Etsy on Autopilot!).Read More
A few days ago I received an email from my Launch Your Signature Course™ student, Ashley. She was telling me how amazing it was that she was able to launch her course even to a tiny list and make life-changing revenue!
I of course asked her if she would share her experience with you too!
Before taking our Launch Your Signature Course™ program, she had invested in tons of other courses about courses - but they were all theory-based and nothing actionable. Or they would leave out one hugely important thing - which left her without any results.
After investing $23k into a course that didn't sell based on those other programs out there - she was so hesitant to join LYSC™. She told me: "Before I bought, I thought to myself, this LYSC™ program BETTER work!".
And it did. See her full story here!Read More
Guys. There’s one thing that drives me absolutely nuts about running this online business teaching online business.
People assume that only people who sell marketing advice can make real money. People literally tell me “you have it easy, you sell business training. I could never do that in my niche! I talk about saving money/quilting/holistic herbalism/whatever”.
It’s the great big internet marketing lie: that success is only for people selling “make money online!” courses and programs.Read More
It’s no secret there are about 1,000 moving parts to think about when you go to launch your first or next course.
- There’s the tech stuff - setting up all the carts, pricing packages, upsells, and autoresponders.
- There’s the course site - setting up the modules and lessons, uploading the content and videos, and organizing everything in a logical way.
- There’s the sales pages, graphic design, branding, and everything “visual” you need to create.
And probably about 300 other things I’m forgetting at this moment :)
(Which is why we have an entire Course Launch Template and Process in Asana for my company, which is included for you to use and replicate in Launch Your Signature Course™).
But the thing I’m going to be focusing on today is what I call my “Course Launch Collateral”, and it’s all the content that I have to create and identify/name for our launches.
This is my “essential” launch content - things like the launch emails, the webinar content, the blog posts and more.Read More
Since introducing Webinar Rockstar™, the number one fear I’ve heard from you is that you’re scared no one will show up to your webinar.
...Or that you’re audience is too small to have a successful webinar.
...Or that you can’t make money with an audience of 30 people.
Today’s case studies will put all those silly fears to bed. For good.
BECAUSE WEBINARS ARE THE BEST WAY TO MAKE MONEY WITH A SMALL AUDIENCE!
